Hey Cambridge, it's your friendly neighborhood, Isahiah Melendez, but you can call me Zay. I'm new to the class, so ill give you some insight on my story. The story of my life. I was born January 7th, 2008 in Margate, Florida. I'm Puerto Rican, African American, and Norwegian. Mostly raised by my mother and my grandma, I grew up speaking English. I loved soccer and football growing up and it definitely carried over into my future. My upbringing was in the city of Pompano Beach and moved around to Davie around the age of 12. My academic journey started at Somerset Pines Academy where I attended for my kindergarten year, and later moved to Norcrest Elementary for 1st to 4th grade. I did my last year of elementary school at Flamingo Elementary, and stayed in the area for middle school where I attended Indian Ridge Middle School. Around this time I got into soccer and played for about 2 years until I got into highschool at Fort Lauderdale High. Where I found myself joining the football team and joining Varsity by just my sophomore year.  Football is a big hobby for me and takes up a good percentage of my time. Other than that I really enjoy listening to music, practicing my piano skills, drawing, and playing video games. Piano is something I just recently picked up, and I'd say I'm pretty good for a beginner. I am currently halfway through learning Fur Elise and I've learned how to play some easy notes like Still Dre by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. My drawing usually consists of anime characters or some normal household objects. Music is a very calming thing for me and I really enjoy lyrical artists like J Cole. Instrumentals also play a large role in satisfying my ears as certain sounds can make or break an entire song. I'm very excited for the opportunity that Cambridge is providing me for my future, and I can't wait to experience more of the classes.

Have a good day!
Sincerely, your friendly neighborhood Isahiah Melendez.
