After considering our study on the "hip-hop" genre, we came up with a number of recurring themes that we included in our film. For example, in order to represent the essence of hip-hop culture, we shot in a neighborhood for some of the sequences, opting for an urban location. Dancing was another component we added, and it was on display in the scene where we did a freestyle on an escalator. But we also wanted to add some of our own special touches to the film. We purposefully employed inexpensive props like prop money and fictitious checks, as well as unusual settings like the low-cost retailer CVS. Good day Cambridge, It’s Isahiah again! my group and I have finished all of the edits. And we are now completely done with our project. This involved a lot of peer review and time during, after and before school. For example, Renato and I would show off our video to fellow classmates asking their opinions and taking a poll on what revisions to make. Conner, handled the editing. He has much experience with this. Due to the fact that he used to make Fortnite montages. Due to my high instagram following set up a poll to see if people liked certaian scenes and in what order. I showed the video to my parents and asked for constructive criticism. The feedback tehy gave was extremely helpful and influenced our project to turn out the way it did. Our teamwork and our work ethic were the foundation of a successful mesic video. We were able to complete everything in a couple days. Even though, some of our member didn’t know eachother in the beginning, we meshed as a team in no time. This music v...

To add some flair to this shot we implemented our prop money. The money at such a high place shows a feeling of supremacy. Being almost "on top of the world" which correlates perfectly to the song's title "Gods Plan." There was discussion amongst the group to use this location in the closing shot. With ideas of throwing the money in the air with a tracking shot + fade out. However we never ended up back at the location...
