Final Countdown (Filming)

Hey Cambridge, nearing the end of the project, it's Isahiah back again. Today's plan was to finalize the last scenes we had to do for filming our movie. We have already filmed some scenes of my character training, a few of Renato and Finn, and Renato and I's dialogue. Still, there were a few key scenes that needed to include all of us together—and most notably, a boxing scene. We had been facing this challenge for some time because there weren't many boxing locations available to us. Our first issue was trying to find a gym that all of us could use. Finding a gym with a boxing ring was essential, but it wasn't easy. We were able to locate one after some hunting at a gym called "The Zoo" culture club gym. The second issue was with the filming. Because The Zoo is a private gym, we needed to know if we would be permitted inside and if we could all leave. This was our original idea, but we were unable to proceed since we had to pay the gym or figure out a way to enter for the purpose of recording a few hours without having to pay for a full membership. Luckily, we were able to locate Alyssa, a friend who was able to use the gym. Alyssa was really kind to enable all four of us to use a pass to join the gym because she, her brother, and their two parents all visit The Zoo. For their personas, Finn and Renato pulled out gloves and boxing attire. Conner brought all the gear he needed to capture the best filming, including his camera, mics, and more, while I packed headgear and equipment to seem as a trainer. Given that we had the scenes ready for weeks in advance, shooting them was really effective. We started by acting out the parts involving Renato and Finn, including when Finn knocks him out and when they meet for their rematch in the center and in their corners. We also recorded other clips with simply Finn to include his training sequences, and we also filmed some with Renato and me to showcase our combined training as a coach and boxer. We shot all of the sequences in less than three hours, and we had a ton of video. After that, there might be some scenes to reshoot or add, but the majority of our story has been told, and the filming is finished.
